Pigsty Gloucester road, press release
The founders of Pigsty are excited to announce that their new site will be opening at 79-81 Gloucester Road, Bristol in May.
The opening comes after the success of their first site at Cargo on Wapping Wharf. At Gloucester Road there will still be an all-day menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering the best British pork, alongside dishes that will appeal to non-pork eaters and vegetarians alike.
Pigsty was founded by pork experts The Jolly Hog (run by brothers Olly, Max and Josh) together with Will Collier (current Harlequins rugby player) in October 2016.
Their new site was originally an old butchery that existed from 1890-1950 which specialised solely in Pork. The team are proud to be staying true to their Bristol roots and to the local history by restoring the site to its former glory and pork origins.
With this larger site, Pigsty will have the same warm and friendly neighbourhood atmosphere as the first restaurant and will be a place for all Bristol locals to enjoy.
